Goldilocks
is a thief. Her mother is a thief, and her father is, too. They are all thieves.
They steal things and sell them. They are criminals. They break into (allanar) houses and take stuff.
Goldilocks
walks around the neighborhood and looks in the windows of her neighbors. She
knows that the three bears are rich.
“They
probably have a lot of good stuff. I will look in their window,” Goldilocks
says.
It is two
thirty-five (02:35) in the morning. It is very dark outside. A window opens and
Goldilocks enters the house of the three bears. It is dark inside the house,
too, but Goldilocks has a light.
“Where is
something expensive? I want to steal something expensive,” Goldilocks says.
At first,
she looks in the kitchen. Goldilocks wants to steal expensive things. There is
a lot of stuff in the kitchen, but most of it is for cooking. There are a lot
of plates and glasses, but those things are heavy and they aren’t expensive.
“I can’t
carry the fridge or the dishwasher,” she thinks.
She finds
an iPhone and a tablet on the kitchen table. She puts them both in her bag. She
knows that iPhones aren’t cheap.
Then she
goes into the living room. There is a lot of expensive stuff in there. She sees
a TV, a sofa, a hi-fi music player, and lots of books. She takes two books
because she loves to read.
“Books
aren’t very expensive, and the TV is too big. I can’t carry a TV. I want
something small and expensive.”
She looks
on the bookshelves and on the table. She looks behind the curtains. She can’t
find anything small and expensive. All of the small things she sees are
inexpensive
A
policeman walks by the house. He sees the light in the living room.
“Why is
there a light on in the living room at the three bear’s house?” he says to
himself. “I’m going to investigate.”
He walks
to the window of the living room and looks inside the house. Goldilocks hears
him and she turns off the flashlight. She is very quiet.
The cop
doesn’t see anyone in the living room. He is very hungry. He isn’t a very good
policeman.
“I want
to go buy a donut and some coffee,” he says.
Goldilocks
watches the cop walk away from the house. She starts to look for something to
steal. Then she sees something on the wall in the dining room. It is a
beautiful painting. The painting is the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. It was
painted between 1503 and 1506.
She takes
the painting from the wall.
“I’m
going to be rich!” she shouts.
Then she
remembers that she is a thief and she doesn’t want to wake up the three bear
who are sleeping upstairs.
Goldilocks
takes a knife from the pocket of her trousers. Then she begins to take the
painting from the frame. She is very careful. She works slowly to remove the
painting from the frame. When she finishes, she puts the painting in her bag.
Suddenly,
she hears a noise. Someone is coming down the stairs of the house. The bedrooms
are upstairs. Someone is awake.
Baby Bear
walks into the dining room. Goldilocks is hiding under the dining room table. Baby
Bear looks at the wall.
“Where is
the Mona Lisa? Where is the painting?” he asks. “Did it fall on the floor?”
He looks
under the table and sees Goldilocks.
“Stop,
thief!” he shouts at Goldilocks.
Goldilocks
doesn’t listen to the little bear. She stands up and picks up her bag from the
floor.
“I said
stop,” the bear repeats.
“Shut up,
Baby Bear. I’m not afraid of you. You are very small.”
Baby Bear
starts to cry. He is afraid of Goldilocks because she has a knife in her hand.
“Go back
to bed, Baby Bear,” Goldilocks yells.
Baby Bear
runs very quickly up the stairs.
Goldilocks
is tired. She sits on the sofa and turns on the TV. She wants to watch a movie.
Goldilocks likes action movies. Her favorite movie is Spiderman. She watches an
action movie. The film is very loud. There are lots of explosions in the movie.
Goldilocks has the volume up to #10, the highest volume level.

She hears
someone coming down the stairs.
“I told
you to go to bed, Baby Bear. It’s almost three o’clock in the morning.”
“I’m not
Baby Bear. I’m Mama Bear. What are you doing in my house and why are you
watching the TV so late? And why is the volume so high?”
“Be
quiet, I’m trying to watch a movie.”
Goldilocks
isn’t afraid of Mama Bear.
“I’m
going to call the police,” Mama Bear says.
“Go
ahead. I’m not afraid of that cop. He’s fat and stupid,” Goldilocks says.
Goldilocks
isn’t very nice.
Mama Bear
calls the police, but the policeman is eating donuts and is too busy to come to
the house. Mama Bear goes back upstairs. She is very angry at Goldilocks.
Goldilocks
turns on the hi-fi and plays loud music. Goldilocks likes to listen to music
and she likes to dance. She starts to dance in the living room.
Now all
of the bears are awake: Baby Bear, Mama Bear, and Papa Bear.
“What can
we do?” Mama Bear asks.
“She will
get sleepy and go to bed soon. It’s very late,” Papa Bear says. “Let’s go back
to sleep.”
Papa is
right. Goldilocks is tired. She wants to go to sleep, but she is too tired to
walk home.
“I’m
going to sleep here tonight,” Goldilocks says.
She walks
upstairs and finds an extra bedroom, a guest bedroom.
Before
she goes to bed, she goes to the bathroom. She brushes her teeth and washes her
face.
She goes
to sleep with her bag of stolen items next to her on the floor. It is four o’clock
in the morning.
Suddenly,
Goldilocks hears a loud alarm clock.
It is
very early in the morning. The three bears are awake and making a lot of noise.
Papa Bear opens the door to Goldilocks’ bedroom.
“Rise and
shine, thief. We wake up early in this house. Breakfast will be ready in ten minutes.”
Goldilocks
is not happy. She is very tired.
“I’m not
getting up. I need more sleep,” she says.
“Sorry,
the rule of the house is that we all wake up at six thirty every morning.”
Mama Bear
and Baby Bear walk into her bedroom.
“Wake up,
little girl,” Mama Bear says.
“It’s
time for breakfast,” Baby Bear says.
Papa Bear
picks up Goldilocks and swings her up in the air.
“Come on,
little girl,” Papa Bear says. “It’s time to come downstairs for breakfast.”
Goldilocks
doesn’t want to wake up, and she isn’t hungry. She doesn’t want to have
breakfast; she wants to sleep. She decides that she needs to leave the house of
the three bears and go home to her bed, but the bear family is in front of the
door and she can’t leave. Goldilocks leaves her bag on the floor and goes to
the window. She opens the window and climbs down the drainpipe and escapes.
“Good
bye, little girl,” Papa Bear says.
“See you
later, thief,” says Baby Bear.
“Come
back for a visit someday,” Mama bear says.
The three
bears are very nice, but Goldilocks doesn’t want to come back for a visit. She
wants to go home and go back to bed.
