The cafeteria (comedor) at Colegio de Luis de Santángel is a five star restaurant. The food is very healthy. They never have junk food in the cafeteria, things like candy or donuts. They always serve vegetables and fruit
People from Valencia have to make reservations and pay a lot of money to eat in the cafeteria. When you arrive, you have to wait in a long line before you get a table. When they arrive at the cafeteria, they have to talk to the man at the reservation desk.
The man at the desk stops the people at the door to the cafeteria.
"Excuse me, do you have a reservation?" he asks them.
If they don't have a reservation, he tells them that there are no tables available in the cafeteria. If they have a reservation, they have to wait, and wait, and wait.
If you go to that school, you don’t need to make a reservation. You can eat there every day and you don’t have to wait in a long line.
The chefs in the kitchen work hard to make good food for all of the students. The kids are very hungry, and they need good food. School is difficult, especially physical education (P.E.).
The kids in the school go to the cafeteria at two o’clock to have lunch on school days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).
“I am very hungry. I hope we have something good for lunch today,” one student says.
"We always have good food for lunch; this is a five-star cafeteria," her friend says.
She points to the menu board.
"That sounds great. I love spaghetti, and peaches are my favorite fruit."
"I wish that I could eat here on Saturday and Sunday," the girl says. "Why is the cafeteria closed on the weekend?"
"I don't know," her friend says. "It's sad that the cafeteria is closed on the weekend."
